Indian Child Welfare Act Program

A. Passed by Congress in 1978 to protect and preserve our Native American children from being sent to Foster Homes or Foster Parents without the consent of the Tribe.

B. Assist those Foster agencies or Foster parents to provide cultural awareness to their children or find placement of child with qualified Indian Parents.
C. Provide information to the Child Protective Services, Law Enforcement, Social Services, and the Court Systems to identify appropiate placement of their Native American Children.
D. If you know of any Native American children who need cultural awareness education notify our Tribe for assistance.
E. If you would like assistance with Tribal adoption among families, please contact the our Tribe.
